Roadside Tyre Call-Out on Broadway, Oldham for Sarah’s MINI Countryman
Sarah had pulled over on Broadway in Oldham after noticing something wasn’t right with the rear tyre on her MINI Countryman. It was one of those awkward spots where the car was safely off to the side, but still close enough to the road that the job needed proper cones and a careful setup.
When we arrived, we positioned the M60 Mobile Tyres van behind the MINI and put cones out to give both the car and our technician a safe working area. After checking the tyre, it was clear the damage was not something worth risking on a longer drive, so the wheel was removed at the roadside and the tyre was replaced there and then.
The MINI was jacked up securely, the old tyre was taken off, and a replacement was fitted using the equipment in our van. Once fitted, we inflated the tyre to the correct pressure, checked everything over, and made sure the wheel bolts were properly tightened before Sarah set off again.
What could have turned into a long wait for recovery ended up being sorted at the roadside, without Sarah needing to leave the car or find a nearby garage.
